| Induction to Children & Young People's Workforce - Youth Work |

This is an 8 week course course that integrates a basic introduction to Youth Work with the Children and Young Peoples workforce common induction framework. Although the course stands alone it is the first of 3 parts for successful completion the whole induction Common Induction programme. You will also need to attend a Level 1 Basic Safeguarding awareness course, and obtain a report signing off of your competencies by your group leader, line manager. The course will give participants experience of practical activities for work young people |
The course is held at Reddish Area Office
You will obtain a certificate of attendance for this course To obtain a certificate of completion for the whole programme you will need to be volunteering or working in a youth work situation. This session will explain the Common Induction framework and requirements for assessing and signing off participants competencies for managers / supervisors / group leaders whose inductees are participating in the in the Induction to Children & Young People's Workforce - Youth Work course. As this above course is new attendance by supervisors is highly recommended. |
